As you are aware, the Government has announced that schools will remain closed until 19 April 2020. We are ready and looking forward to opening again on the 20 April 2020. Every member of the Gaelchol\u00e1iste Luimnigh community, teachers, SNAs, parents and our fantastic<\/em> students, are making an incredible effort to ensure that Learning and Teaching continues during this difficult and challenging time. Remote Learning is not easy for every student and we understand that there can be problems with wifi, technical problems, time management issues or students who have to look after younger siblings. That said, over 90% of students across all year groups are engaged in on-line learning. We are extremely proud of this statistic and of course our exceptional students, who are putting great work despite the aforementioned problems. This is a very difficult time for all students but especially for Leaving Certificate and Junior Certificate Students. The State Exams Commision are working on possible solutions but rest assured that whatever happens it will be fair to all of you who have worked so hard up to now. <\/em> <\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n

We would like to acknowledge the great work of our teachers during this difficult period. As mentioned, we are extremely happy with the way in which learning and teaching continues.
