Ráiteas Aontaithe an Bhoird Bainistíochta / Agreed Statement of Board of Management

· Ba mhaith leis an mBord Bainistíochta comhghairdeas a dhéanamh leis na scoláirí Ard-Teistiméireachta 2016 as a gcuid torthaí den scoth.  Tá an Bord thar a bheith bródúil as éachtaí na scoláirí.  Moladh gur bhain beagnach 100% don ghrúpa a chéad rogha tríú leibhéal amach.

· Moladh an raon leathan d’imeachtaí a chuireann an fhoireann agus tuismitheoirí ar fáil do scoláirí.

· Gabhadh buíochas do phatrúin an choláiste as an tacaíocht de-shíor a léirítear dá scoileanna agus an treoir a léirítear do sheirbhísí na scoile.

· Beidh an chéad chruinniú eile den Bhord Bainistíochta ar siúl 5 Nollaig 2016.

The Board of Management of Gaelcholáiste Luimnigh met on Friday, 9 September 2016 at 4.30pm.  The following is the agreed report for the school community.

• The Board would like to congratulate the Leaving Certificate class of 2016 who achieved excellent results.  The Board is extremely proud of the pupils and staff of the college.  The Board also wishes to praise the fact that almost 100% of pupils secured their first preference college course.
• The Board would like to compliment the staff and parents who volunteer extra time to pupils in the college reagarding the extra-curricular schedule.
• The Board thanks the on-going and continuous support of its patron, the Limerick and Clare Education & Training Board (LCETB) for all of its guidance and support services in complimenting the education and development of pupils at Gaelcholáiste Luimnigh.
• The next Board of Management meeting will take place on 5 December 2016.
