Principal

Kevin Ó Raghallaigh is the Principal of Gaelcholáiste Luimnigh.

Kevin is a native of Patrickswell, Co. Limerick and attended Saint Clement’s College in Limerick City. He graduated from the University Of Limerick in 2007 with an Honours degree in Physical Education and Gaeilge.
Kevin started teaching in Gaelcholáiste Luimnigh in 2007 as a Physical Education and Gaeilge teacher. He was appointed as a Special Duties Teacher in 2009 and as an Assistant Principal in 2011.
Kevin was the Coordinator of Transition Year in Gaelcholáiste Luimnigh since 2009.  He played a central role in the School’s Whole School Evaluation in 2013, and various inspection reports including Gaeilge and Transition Year (List of reports available here)
Kevin worked as the acting Deputy Principal in the school in 2018/2019.  Kevin also led School Self-Evaluation in Gaelcholáiste Luimnigh during this time.
